Course for ketamine assisted therapists and other clinicians who want to offer group ketamine therapy but are not sure how to get started, what is needed, or feel intimidated by the idea of groups. We will go over important upfront decision-making factors and then introduce key guiding principles for successful group work. You will be introduced to a 6-week group protocol and learn how to apply and modify this protocol with confidence for your own practice. We cover screening and assessments, group composition, and the treatment arc including group preparation sessions, ketamine sessions, and integration sessions. Practical elements including logistics and pricing will be discussed. Experience a variety of group building blocks and exercises through interactive segments. Challenging group situations and how to avoid or manage them will be explored together.
FEATURED VIDEO
Tanya and I explore the topic of procrastination from a feeling, thinking, and behavioral perspective. We offer practical and tactical ways to overcome procrastination! Procrastination can come with a lot of guilt and judgment, from self and others, like the belief that it is laziness. We discuss that this stereotype is harmful and look at mental health challenges, like ADHD or depression, that can make it difficult to get started. Feel stuck? Check out our latest video for inspiration and motivation.
