The American Society of Ketamine Physicians, Psychotherapists, and Practitioners (ASKP3) is a non-profit group of professionals dedicated to the safe clinical use of ketamine for mental health disorders and pain conditions. The motto of this year’s conference is: Ketamine in 2023: Celebrating Diverse Perspectives and Approaches. I will be speaking about group KAP.

Education, tools and skills for qualitative researchers with the goal to REconnect researchers to a sense of well-being, purpose, and embodied presence, REenergize through destigmatizing these challenges and through the development of tools and skills to manage stress, burnout, and compassion fatigue. My presentation will include information, tools and skills, and we will practice together!

Compassion fatigue is a real issue for qualitative researchers. Even if empathy comes naturally, it can be exhausting emotionally and physically to constantly summon it at work. How to cope? Psychotherapist and former qualitative research Katja Cahoon has answers.
